Grantham, PA - The Falcons found themselves down 16-0 at one point in the dual but they rallied back to win 26-19. A pin from junior Chris Williamson got them started and he got help from classmate Ben Kramer who secured a tech. fall.

The team first got the jolt that it needed from Chris Williamson at 149 lbs. He quickly got a takedown in the first period and followed that up soon after with a nearfall to go up 5-0. Nearing the end of the first period, he saw a chance for a pin and knew he had to take it. He got the pin with only two seconds left to spare.
 
Sophomore Jake English took that momentum into his match and made it a very close fight. At the end of the third period he got very close to getting a takedown to take it into overtime.
 
Messiah didn't look back after the sixth match though. Junior Ricardo Plummer starting the win streak that lasted to the end of the dual. His match was tight up until the third period, which he started out losing 6-5. Towards the middle of that period Plummer got a couple of points and then ended the match with emphasis, getting a nearfall with seconds to go.
 
The next match kept the momentum going when junior Ben Kramer racked up the points to win with a tech. fall. That brought the score to within 5, and the following match at 184 lbs. was one by forfeit. In two matches, 11 points had gone the Falcons' way, giving them the lead by one, 20-19.
 
Finishing out the match in grueling fashion was junior Charles Jones who faced a tough opponent, Joe Camlin. Jones got a big reversal in the second period after the two were fighting for position. He then started the third with an escape and held off the attacks from Camlin from there on out.  

Messiah College wrestling ends their regular season on a high note and they are looking forward to NCAA regionals on March 2.
