Tim Moses will be competing in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships scheduled for Mar. 11 at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA.

This marks Moses' fifth appearance at an NCAA Championship, and his third at an NCAA Indoor Championship in as many seasons.

How Moses Got HereMoses placed first in the MAC Indoor Championships last weekend, where he vaulted a height of 16'10" – his best of the year. His height at MACs also broke the MAC indoor pole vault record, a mark he previously held. Moses will look to continue rewriting Messiah's record book, as he currently holds both the indoor and outdoor pole vault records.

When Moses is VaultingThe men's pole vault is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 11 at 4:00 p.m. CT (5:00 p.m. ET). He is ranked fourth in the nation going into the weekend behind Luke Winder of North Central (17'8.5"), Andrew Bartnett of Johns Hopkins (17'2.75") and Tyler Orewiler of Mount Union (17'1.5"). A total of 15 athletes will compete in the event.

Where Moses is VaultingThe 2016 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships are hosted by Grinnell College this season. The meet will take place in the Charles Benson Bear '39 Recreation and Athletic Center.

Messiah's History at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field ChampionshipsIncluding Moses, the Falcons have had a total of eight men garner Indoor All-American honors (listed below). Though eight have earned All-American honors, none have won their respective event. Thrower Fred Fulton and Moses have come closest to a national title with respective Runner-Up finishes. Last season Moses earned the second place honor behind longtime rival Windor of North Central. In the event Windor edged Moses with a vault of 17'4.5" compared to 17'2.75".
