Cross Country Courses
The women’s 6,000 meter and men’s 8,000 meter courses are challenging courses with approximately 700’ (women) and approximately 850’ (men) total elevation change, including open grass, mulch/gravel forest trails, and minimal asphalt crossover surfaces. The common start/finish field is on well-manicured practice fields.

- First Kilometer : grass and gravel course along the picturesque Yellow Breeches Creek, including a minor portion of asphalt and concrete through a covered bridge
- Second Kilometer: mulch trail in forest shade
- Third Kilometer: grass open field perimeter
- Fourth Kilometer: mulch forest trail uphill to a water tower (highest point on campus) and downhill in the shade
- Fifth Kilometer: gravel trail along stream lowest point on campus)
- Sixth Kilometer (women) / 6th-8th kilometer (men): grass course around athletic fields
