After transferring after her freshman season, Alex (Brandt) Harpine made a huge impact in three seasons in a Messiah uniform. Harpine was honored with First Team All-MAC Commonwealth in all three of her seasons. Harpine was also named to First-Team All-Region and First Team All-American in all three of her seasons. In 2012, Harpine added more hardware with the National Player of the Year and Conference Player of the Year honors.
In Harpine's three seasons as a Falcons, the Messiah women's soccer team went 71-2-2. During Harpine's career, the Falcons won three Conference Championships, back-to-back National Championships (2011, 2012), and a National Runner-Up in 2010. Harpine finished her career with the sixth most assists in program history (35), 10th most points (107), and 14th in career goals (36), all just in three seasons. Harpine joins her father, David Brandt in the Messiah Hall of Honor.
