Messiah University Athletics

Vogel was a three-time All-Conference and All-American wrestler for the Falcons. He was the National Runner-Up for 149 lbs. in 2001, and took seventh in both 2002 and 2003. At the time of his induction he remained the Falcons’ all-time leader in wins (157), takedowns (422), and nearfalls (190). He also holds the second (132) and third (121) spots for single-season takedowns. In his senior season Vogel earned a Capital One Academic All-District recognition, and he also received an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
