Christina (Wessman) Price was an instant leader in her four years as a Falcon and helped set the standard for Messiah softball that still goes today. Price was a crucial part of the 1998 team that became the first softball team in program history to win regionals and make it to the National Tournament Final Eight. The Falcons then repeated as Regional Champions the next year in 1999. The Falcons also won two Conference Championships in 1998 and 1999 with Price manning second base.

Price finished her career as a three-time All-Conference selection and earned three All-Region honors. In her senior season after moving to shortstop, Price earned a Third-Team All-American selection. Price is also highlighted in the Messiah softball's record book. Price is third in career stolen bases with 68, seventh with 196 career hits, and eighth with 115 career runs scored. Wessman was also a natural athlete in the field finishing her career with the fourth most assists in program history with 291, while playing three seasons at second base and then moving to short her senior season.
