Jan Trapp – Field Hockey Coach
“Coachee” served as head coach of the Falcons for 39 years and put together a career that rivals those of legendary coaches in all of NCAA Athletics history. Her career record is 535-179-28 with her victory total ranking first all-time in NCAA Division III field hockey history. She led the Falcons to 18 Conference Championships, 25 NCAA Tournaments, 14 Regional Championships, and eight finishes as the National Runner-Up. Trapp was named Regional Coach of the Year six times and Conference Coach of the Year eight times. Fifty-three of her players were named All-Americans and four of her players earned National Player of the Year honors. She was also inducted into the NFHCA Hall of Fame in 2007.
