Field Hockey
1983-1987
Jennifer displayed an outstanding ability to score goals, and she led Messiah’s 1984 field hockey team to its first Middle Atlantic Conference championship and NCAA tournament bid. That year, she set single-season records with 28 goals and 257 shots on goal, and the Falcons had an undefeated regular season and advanced to the NCAA title game. She was twice named first team All-American, in 1984 and 1986, and was a MAC all-star her last three years. At the time of her induction into the Falcon Club Hall of Honor, Jennifer held Messiah Records in career goals (85) and career shots on goal (719), in addition to the two single-season marks mentioned earlier.
