A versatile athlete, John was a four-yar goalkeeper with the men's soccer team but made his mark in basketball. John averaged 21.6 points per game over the course of his college career and set the school scoring record with 1558 points in 1969, earning him fourth place on the all-time scoring list at the time of his induction into the Falcon Club Hall of Honor.
