Field Hockey
1981-1985
Kim was a four year member of the field hockey team, and captained the team that qualified for the first ever NCAA National Tournament in 1984. The team concluded the season with a 20-1 record, with their only blemish being a loss in the National Championship contest. Kim was named to the National All-Tournament Team and was selected an NCAA All-American. That same season Messiah claimed their first ever Middle Atlantic Conference championship, with Kim being named to the MAC All-Star Team. Kim ended her career tied for first in number of assists (11), second in goals scored in a single season (18) and for a career (33). At the time of her induction, Kim was eighth on all-time scoring list.
