Lester had an outstanding senior year, setting a school record in the 5000 meter and 10,000 meter events and an NCCAA record in the 10,000 meter. Not surprisingly, he won the NCCAA championship in both events, and received the Outstanding Athlete Award at the NCCAA National Meet.
