Gettysburg, PA - A day after earning a come-from-behind victory over Johns Hopkins University, the Falcons employed the old "score early and often" plan against three opponents on Saturday. The result was a perfect 3-0 showing at Gettysburg College.

The Falcons started off with a 57-0 victory over PSU-Beaver, with the Nittany Lions wrestling in only five spots. Messiah freshman Devin Anderson, senior Matt Cross, and freshman Evan Canady earned pins in the victory. Freshman Tom Kuegler collected a major decision, 13-4.

Agains the host Bullets, Messiah freshman Kaleb Loht and sophomore Kyle Coblentz provided a major decision and pin, respectively to make up for an early decision by Gettysburg. In all, the Falcons took six of the 10 bouts-- two by forfeit-- to earn the 34-18 win. Pins were also collected by junior Josh Bressler and senior Tim Stewart.

Against King's, the Falcons took eight of the 10 bouts en route to a 36-10 victory to make it a perfect weekend of competition. Messiah opened the match with pins by senior Danny Lethbridge, Loht, and sophomore Victor Bracy.

Messiah moves to 14-6 on the season and will host Muhlenberg College on Friday, February 10, at 7:00 p.m. The dual will be followed on Saturday, February 11, with a 4:00 p.m. showdown with Elizabethtown College, also in Grantham.
