The men won their first event of the night with the 1000-yard freestyle win by Wieder. The first year swimmer stayed neck-and-neck with Chris Miles throughout the race and up until about two laps to go. Wieder finished his last length with his fastest split of the race (28.41).

In the 100-yard breastroke, Emily Reale finished with a four-tenths advantage to take the victory (1:11.61). Reale's time in the event came close to beating her previous personal record of 1:11.52, achieved earlier in the season.

Both the men and women finished off the event with wins in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The women's team won by nearly six seconds (1:43.11), while the men swept the podium taking the top two spots. The winning men's team included Ryan Shields (24.68), David Whiting (23.76), Phil Rodo (23.93), and Nate Brown (22.41) for a time of 1:34.78.

Dickinson proved to be the stronger team in the end, winning 15 of the total 22 races. Nine of those victories came on the men's side of the event.

The losses bring the women's duals record to 4-4 overall, while the men fall to 2-6 overall. The Dickinson men's team improves to 5-2 and the women move to 6-2 overall. The Falcons will next face Lycoming College at home this Saturday, Dec. 7, at 2:00 p.m.
