No. 19 Falcons Overcome on Road by No. 16 TCNJ

Ewing, NJ - Ewing, NJ - The Messiah Falcons lost on the road Saturday to a tough, ranked The College of New Jersey team 21-13. The loss comes just a day after a loss on the road to Elizabethtown College.

It was a well-fought dual between two, tough ranked teams. For the Lions of TCNJ it marks the last match of the regular season.
 
Freshman Josh Thomson suffers just his second loss on the season to #3 ranked Brian Broderick at 184 lbs. in Division III wrestling. It was a very close match, only decided by one point, but ultimately ended 3-2 in favor of Broderick.
 
Junior Ricardo Plummer also came up against a tough opponent in John Darling, ranked #4 in the nation among Division III wrestlers at 165 lbs. That match ended 5-0 to Darling.
 
Highlights for Messiah though in this match are wins from Kurt Rodriquez, Ben Kramer, Travis Ebersole, and Charles Jones. All of them decisions aside from Jones' major decision to end the dual and get the team to 13 points.
 
The duals record on the season for the Falcons and Lions move to 12-7 overall. The next match for Messiah will be at home on Tuesday night, Feb. 19, against McDaniel College at 7 p.m.
