ResultsCarlisle, PA - Messiah College men's swimming fell behind early and could not catch up to Dickinson, falling 118-87 on the road to the Red Devils.
Nate Brown swam especially well for the Falcons, taking first in both the 50 freestyle (22.37) and 100 freestyle (50.36). Brown also anchored the Falcons' first place finish in the 200 freestyle relay.
Dakota Schmalz also swam with that relay team after two top finishes of his own in both the 200 IM (2:03.79) and 100 butterfly (55.15).
Additional Messiah swimmers earned valuable points throughout the meet, including
Daniel Jessen in the 100 backstroke (second place, 56.12). Nevertheless, Dickinson placed first in every other event to keep ahead of their visitors.
The Falcons will return to action this weekend when they swim at Lycoming College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
