ResultsWilliamsport, PA – Messiah men's swimming got off to a fast start over Lycoming and finished with a convincing 115-90 win on Saturday afternoon. The win moved the Falcons to 5-1 against conference opponents this season, and evened their overall record at 5-5.

The men won eight of 11 events over the Warriors.

The Falcons took second in the 400 medley relay to start the afternoon, but
Aaron Eckman righted the ship with wins in the 1000 freestyle (10:46.13) and 200 freestyle (1:52.84).
Nate Brown followed suit with a win by 0.51 seconds in the 50 freestyle.

Dakota Schmalz then won the 400 IM with a time of 4:28.21 to put the Falcons strongly in front.

As the afternoon continued, so did the strong performance by the Falcons.
Daniel Jessen (51.40) and
Nolan McArdle (56.36) won the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke, respectively.

Eckman then finished his impressive day with another win, this time in the 500 freestyle (5:09.83).

The Falcons' final win of the afternoon came in the final event, as McArdle, Jessen, Schmalz, and Brown combined for a time of 3:21.50 in the 400 freestyle relay.
The Falcons will now be off for more than a month and will return to action on Jan. 10 when they swim against both King's and Arcadia in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
