Live StatisticsWilliamsport, PA - Messiah College collected three routes in as many attempts on Friday in the first day of the Budd Whitehill Duals at Lycoming College. Messiah will advance to Saturday's pairings, where they face Thiel College at 10:30 a.m. in the Semifinal. (Lycoming and Williams will meet in the other Semifinal.)

Jason Wright all earned pins in the victory.
Ryan Theirman (125) and George Vanvalen (165) took the lone decisions for Alfred. Otherwise, it was all Messiah, as would be the case throughout the day.
Against Wesleyan, Messiah picked up another three pins in another dominating performance, winning 48-10. No. 1

Derek Beitz, and Thomson all earned the falls.
Against their final opponent of the day, Messiah went up 27-0 en route to a 27-10 win. No. 2
Lucas Malmberg started the Falcons off with a 9-4 decision, and Harris followed with a pin at 6:01. Loht and
Chris Williamson followed with decisions of their own before Cannon picked up another pin at just 0:41.
Cortland's 10 points came in the final three bouts, as No. 4 Tyler Beckwith, No. 4 Joe Giaramita, and No. 9 Lance Moore took decisions over the Falcons.
