Donnell McNair set the Falcons' season's best time in the 400 meter hurdles and both
Nicholas White and
Scott Kerstetter came close to the same achievement to lead Messiah at the Paul Kaiser Classic.

McNair finished eighth in the 400 meter hurdles among mostly Division II competition, with his time being 57.45 seconds.

White (22.82) and Kerstetter (51.43) each came within a quarter-second of the Falcons' best times this season in the 200 and 400 meter dashes, respectively.
The Falcons are less than a week away from the MAC Outdoor Championships.

Other notable performances for Messiah at Shippensburg included:
- In the 100 meter dash Mark Engle (11.32) and Richard Prensner (11.37) finished 14th and 16th, respectively
- In the 800 meter run Cameron Shirk (1:56.63) and Nathaniel Pardoe (1:57.26) finished 16th and 19th, respectively
- In the 1,500 meter run Jared Schatz (4:00.69), Christopher Scheib (4:04.79), and Tyler Sensenig (4:06.77) finished fifth, eighth, and 11th, respectively
- In the 3,000 meter run Kaleb Burch (9:04.53) and Nathan Fleming (9:08.53) finished 13th and 14th, respectively
- In the steeplechase Kenton Grossnickle (10:29.58) and Joel Zeigler (10:41.51) finished eighth and ninth, respectively
- In the high jump Aaron Powell finished 10th (5'11")
- In the pole vault Dane Cornelius finished fifth (14'1")
- In the hammer Michael Boyles finished 11th (131'10")
- In the javelin Christian Pavlovich (182'5") and Matthew Miller (179'1") finished third and fourth, respectively
