Rachel Robison,

Marie Johnson each collected solid marks in their respective events to lead Messiah at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday.

Robison earned a season's best mark of 10'6" in the pole vault, and finished ninth among a field of mainly Division II competition. Hostetter earned a personal record (PR) in the long jump, hitting 16'11.5") and Johnson did the same with a mark of 36'11" in the triple jump. Johnson finished second overall.

The Falcons are less than a week away from the MAC Outdoor Championships.

Other notable performances for Messiah at Shippensburg included:
- In the 200 meter dash Tiffany Burrows finished 15th with a time of 27.06
- In the 400 meter dash Rachel Bowser finished fifth with a time of 1:00.13
- In the 3,000 meter run Tasha Becker (10:59.98), Alissa Rogers (11:00.46), and Natalie Ross (11:09.40) finished fifth, sixth, and eighth, respectively
- In the 100 meter hurdles Rebecca Querfeld finished 23rd with a time of 16.73
- In the steeplechase Rachel Aukamp finished 19th with a time of 13:37.71
- In the 4x100 Kaitlyn Hostetler, Kristen Frawley, Rachel Bowser, and Tiffany Burrows finished seventh with a time of 51.52
- In the high jump both Marie Johnson and Katie Heindel finished fourth with a leap of 5'
- Alyssa Mills took 15th (112'6.5") and 21st (108'4.75") in the discus and javelin, respectively
