Schatz's winning time of 9:09.11 not only beat his previous mark (9:19.83) but also set a new mark for the conference. By taking more than 10 seconds of his best time, Schatz also jumped to No. 3 in all of Division III.

Trevor Stutzman provided another exciting moment for the Falcons when he won the shot put for the third-straight season. He did so in grand fashion this time around as he threw 59'0.75" to reach the No. 2 mark in all of Division III this season. The throw also beat the Messiah record by a half-inch, and it also set a MAC Championships record. Stutzman's previous best throw was 57'9.75" at the Greyhound Invitiational in mid-April.

He finished first in the discus and 1,500 meter run, and he tied for first in the high jump and the pole vault. Engle also finished second in the long jump, shot put and 400 meter dash, and third in the 100 meter dash and 110 meter hurdles.

Engle's teammates in the decathlon also faired well as Dane Cornelius and Matthew Kline also earned All-MAC honors with personal best marks.

They finished in a time of 7:54.16-- just 0.17 seconds behind first and just over a full second in front of third.

On Saturday, Tim Moses cleared a MAC-record 16'8.75" in the pole vault to win gold. A three-time All-American already in the event, Moses is ranked No. 3 in Division III. Teammates Dane Cornelius and Drew Engle took third and fourth, respectively, behind Moses.
