Gettysburg, PA - The Messiah wrestling team competed in three duals at Gettysburg College on Saturday afternoon and came away with three dominate victories. The Falcons started the day with a 35-6 victory over the Southern Virginia Knights. Messiah then defeated Penn College by a final of 52-6 and then finished off their day with a 40-9 victory over King's College.

Marshall Myers received a forfeit at 125 pounds,
Josh Grossnickle nearly earned a technical fall at 133 pounds over Jayson Cody with a 14-2 major decision. Next,
Arty Walsh displayed technical superiority over Christopher Fletcher at 141 pounds and tallied a 19-2 tech fall.

Leading 15-0, Jared Furry conquered Travis Trahan at 157 pounds and earned a pin in just 1:33. At 174 pounds,
Tyler Hershey grinded out a tough match against Dylan Dawson with an 8-5 decision.

Jeremy Bailes kept the Falcons win streak going at 184 pounds when he tallied an 19-3 technical over Nate Rogers.
Victor DeFrance gathered the Falcons final victory of the dual when he pinned Caleb West in 1:32.

Adam Peris grinded out a tough 10-5 decision over David White.

King's won their final match of the dual at 157 pounds at Howard Kiplatrick defeated
Josh Toal by a 8-1 decision.
Ben Wise put Messiah back in the win column with a dominant 12-2 major decision over Angelo Lussi at 165 pounds.

Karrington Washington edged Rene Sousa with a 6-2 decision at 174 pounds. The Falcons ended the match with pins in the finals three matches.
