PSU Tune Up ResultsSelinsgrove, PA - In their last meet before MAC Indoor Championships, the Falcons traveled to Susquehanna to compete in the Susquehanna Open.
Tim Moses was the only Messiah athlete to take first in any event, clearing a height of 16'4.75" in the pole vault.

The dynamic duo of Grace Reidel and
Rachel Robison once again tied in the women's pole vault, each vaulting a height of 10'11.75". The height gives each of them a new personal best. Staying in the field,
Marie Johnson jumped a season best 36'6.25" in the triple jump, earning her way to second place in the event.

Kristen Frawley ran a career best time 9.54 seconds in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles. In the finals, Frawley finished in fourth with a 9.57 second race.

The women's 4x200 meter relay ran a top time on the season for the team, placing third with a time of 1:51.08. The relay was made up of
Christy White,
Kristen Frawley,
Kaitlyn Hostetler, and
Natalie Booz.

Additional noteworthy performances for the women included:Â
- Marie Johnson added to an already impressive day by placing fifth in the high jump with a height of 5'1.75".
- Emily Senning ran an indoor best 62.14 seconds in the 400-meter dash, good for sixth place.
- Sophomore Natalie Ross finished the 1-mile run in 5:32.63. That career best left her in eighth place after all of the heats concluded.

With only a few men competing for Messiah,
Braden Miller had solid performances in both the 200 and 400-meter dashes. In the 400, Miller placed fourth with a season best time of 51.66. He also ran a season best 23.83 seconds in the 200.

Brett Gabrick tied for second place behind teammate
Tim Moses in the pole vault. Gabrick cleared a season best 12'11.5". Also in the field,
Donnell McNair tied his personal best in the high jump, jumping an even six feet. McNair additionally placed seventh in the long jump with a distance of 21'0.75".

Moving to the distance events, Junior
Joshua Pardoe finished ninth place in the 1-mile run. His time of 4:36.93 was his best on the year. Running mates
Zachary Lofties and
Alex Faus placed 13th and 14th in the 3000-meter run, respectively. Lofties, a freshman, ran a career best 9:30.61, while Faus ran his best time in the event since his sophomore year (9:31.56).
A handful of Messiah's men also competed at the Penn State Tune Up meet. The highlights of their performances were
Christopher Scheib's new career best in the 800-meter run (1:56.89), and
Cameron Shirk's best time of the year in the 3,000-meter run (8:59.66).

Messiah will travel to Lehigh University next weekend to compete in the MAC Indoor Championships. The meet will begin on Friday (2/26) afternoon, and will conclude Saturday evening.
