Philadelphia, PA - Messiah men's track and field took a handful of athletes to the 122nd annual Penn Relays on Friday afternoon. Penn Relays is known as one of the most competitive and esteemed meets in the world, and the men represented the Falcons well.
Tim Moses lead the team with his fifth place finish in the men's pole vault. His height of 15' 5" wasn't his best of the year, but it was good enough to place second among Division III competition and beat many of the Division I competitors in the event.
Next in line was the foursome of
Braden Miller,
Jeremy White,
Nathaniel Pardoe, and
Donnell McNair. They finished the 4x400 meter relay in 3:27.12, good for seventh place.
Rounding out the Falcon's competition today was the 4x100 meter relay squad of
Mark Engle,
Josiah Haws,
Braden Miller, and
Jeremy White. Their 44.03 second finish was good for fifth in their heat and 60th overall.Â
The Falcons will be back in action tomorrow as the rest of the team travels to Shippensburg University to compete in the Paul Kaiser Classic. Check
