Messiah Flys Down the Track at Bucknell

Lewisburg, PA – The Messiah track and field team traveled to Bucknell University this weekend with some athletes for competition. Great performances this weekend as many of them set personal best records for this season and many either broke into the top-ten or moved up in the all-time record books.

Tim Moses cleared a season-best in the pole vault with a mark of 5.10 meters and finished second overall among many Division I athletes. Nathaniel Pardoe ran in the 1500-meter race last night finishing with a time of 3:58, which is good enough to place him in sixth in the all-time record books. Alex Scheib wasn't far behind with a time of 4:00 and that mark puts him in fifth in the all-time record books. Brady Miller ran well in the 400 coming in with a time of 52.25.

Natalie Ross and Alissa Rogers both moved up in the top-ten for the steeplechase finishing with a time of 11:20 and 11:26 and they are now sitting in third and four places respectively with those times. In the 5,000 meter run Catherine Springer had a great race finishing with a time of 18:10 and also moved into seventh place in the all-time record books.

The Falcons are back in action when they travel to Princeton next weekend for the Larry Ellis Inivtational.
