Words from Coach McComb
Head Coach
Katie McComb was overall impressed with her squad's performance in the double-dual meet, although there were times she felt tiredness showed within performances.
"I thought they did a great job overall. It was really fun to watch them especially during the relays. It was fun to just see them pull together and it really was a team effort." McComb also noted, "In some individual performances, I think we just need to learn how to push through our tired bodies and to convince ourselves mentally that we are ready to go and we can swim fast even though we may feel tired. Overall, I am really proud of how they did. They really fought and that was encouraging to see."
The Falcons have a quick turnaround as they head to Stevenson University tomorrow, Jan. 13, for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
