GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Messiah men's swim team defeated Lebanon Valley earlier this afternoon by a score of 135-97. The Falcons improve to 8-5 on the year and 6-2 in the conference and are back in action on Feb. 3 hosting Misericordia and Albright College in double-dual beginning at 1:00 p.m.

See below for highlights from today's meet:

• In the 200 Medley Relay Andrew Leeper, Jake Valentine, Ridge Hagar, and Nolan McArdle finished first with a time of 1:44.7.
• Ridge Hagar competed in the 100 Back and placed first with a time of 54.55.
• Drew Wolfe placed first in the 1000 Free with a time of 10:30.41.
• In the 200 Free Jason Maccannon swam a time of 1:57.94 to finish first.
• Jeremy Wakeley swam int he 100 Breast finishing first with a time of 1:07.27.
• Nolan McArdle swam in the 50 Free placing first with a time of 22.81. In the 100 Free Anthony Pompei swam a time of 54.02 to earn first place.
• Andrew Leeper (2:08.38) and Wakeley (2:16.75) placed first and second respectively in the 200 Back.
• In the 500 Free Kurtis Plateel swam a 5:22.30 for first place while Jeffrey Gao placed second with a time of 5:39.87.
