LANCASTER, Pa. – The men's track and field team competed in their first meet of the 2018-19 season at the Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin and Marshall.

n the Results
Brendan Provan and
Andrew Schott highlighted the Falcons' performance today, both notching their name on the program top-10 list. Provan took 13th in the 60m with a time of 7.27, nearly a .20 second personal best. Provan's time puts him fifth on the all time top-10 list for the Falcons. Provan competed in the 200m, finishing in 15th place with a time of 23.89 and also competed in long jump, jumping 6.03m, good for fifth.
Andrew Schott competed in the 60m hurdles, finishing with a time of 9.40 seconds, putting himself 10th on the top-10 list. Also in the 60m hurdles was
Joel Rhinehart, who took 11th place with a 9.61 second race.
In the 400m,
Ryan Thurber took 15th with a time of 54.71. In the 800m,
Cassidy Hoffman came through the line in 2:09.11 to take 13th.
Tyler McFeaters led the charge for the Falcons in the mile, running a 4:27.46 to take first overall.
Matthew Royer followed closely with a 4:33.93 to take fourth place.
Benjamin Schott led all Falcons in the 3000m, taking fourth place with a time of 8:45.69 while
Silas Buckwalter finished in 11th place with at time of 9:20.73. In the 5000m,
Zachary Lofties came through the line in 15:49.60 to take 10th place.
In the pole vault,
Caleb Christner highlighted the Falcons' performance with a 4.10m jump, tying his lifetime personal best while finishing in second place overall.
Clayton Miller jumped 3.80, taking fifth place and
Joel Rhinehart jumped 3.50m to take ninth place.
In the throws, Erik Dryli took eighth in shot put with a 12.38m throw while
Christian Pilawski finished in 10th with a 12.02m throw.
Zachary Zigarelli led the way for the Falcons in the weight throw, finishing in eight with a throw of 10.66m.

What's Up Next
The Falcons are due for a break with Christmas and finals quickly approaching. They will return to the track on January 19th when they travel to Susquehanna University.
