GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah men's swim team earned a split this afternoon in their double-dual against Albright College and Misericordia University. They defeated the Cougars by a score of 146-100 but then fell to the Lions 142-120. The men posted great times overall and there were some good performances by some individuals.
Ridge Hagar had a good day winning the 200 fly, placing second in the 200 backstroke, and had the fastest 100 split in the 400 Medley Relay.
The Falcons are now 9-6 overall and 7-3 in the conference. They have a week off before competing in MAC Championships that are being held February 15-18 in York, Pa.

- In the 200 Free, Daniel Logan placed second with a time of 1:49.42.
- Nolad McArdle finished third in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 55.98 and Kurtis Platteel came in fourth with a time of 56.43.
- Jeffrey Gao swam in the 100 Breaststroke finishing with a time of 1:02.84, good enough for second place and then also finished second in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:16.61.
- In the 50 Free, Andrew Leeper swam well placing first with a finish time of 22.59.
- Daniel Logan (49.61) and David Welch (53.65) finished second and third respectively in the 100 Free.
- McArdle competed in the 200 IM and did very well taking first place with a time of 2:04.15.
- Finally in the 200 Free Relay, the team of Hagar, McArdle, Drew Wolfe, and Leeper placed first with a time of 1:28.92.
