SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Messiah men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Paul Kaiser Classic today and had a good showing overall with some notable performances. The Falcons had seven more athletes qualify for MAC Championships next weekend.
Leanne Weaver won the 1500-meter run in a personal record time of 4:41, which also has her ranked third in the all-time record books.
Kristen Frawley finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a lifetime PR of 14.77 seconds and is now ranked second in the all-time record books.
The Falcons will be flying down the track again next weekend when they compete in MAC Championships. Competition will take place in Chester, Pa. from Apr. 3-5 and be sure to check

Women
- Taylor Wiederrecht placed second in the 400-meter dash with a personal record time of 59.09 seconds. Rebecca Crosley placed sixth with a time of 1:00.09.
- Kayla Miller placed fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.62.
- Sarah Codd ran in the 1500-meter run finishing with a time of 4:57.59 for seventh place.
- Danielle Cardone came in seventh place in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:51.68.
- In the 5000-meter run, Elizabeth Lelonek placed fourth with a time of 20:01.95 and Rachel Aukamp came in seventh with a time of 20:21.97.
- Elizabeth Cole placed third in the high jump with a mark of 1.56m.
Men
- Alex Scheib placed fourth in the 800-meter run with a finish time of 1:55.84.
- Benjamin Schott competed in the 1500-meter run and came in fourth place with a time of 4:05.04.
- Kirk Mummert (9:10.76) and Zachary Lofties (9:12.03) placed seventh and eighth respectively in the 3000-meter run.
- In the 400-meter hurldes, Donnell McNair placed fifth with a time of 55.57 seconds.
