Benjamin Schott set tone for the Falcons in the cold and rainy conditions with a program record in the 1,500m. Messiah took a handful of competitors to the Swarthmore Final Qualifier in a last effort to punch more tickets to the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

As mentioned,
Benjamin Schott highlighted the Falcons performance on the day, setting a program record in the 1,500m but three seconds. Schott ran nearly a four second personal best to come across the line in 3:50.84, a time that puts him No. 11 in the nation.
Matthew Royer closed out his season with a 1:55.28 in the 800m, finishing in 15th overall.
In the 3,000m steeplechase,
Kirk Mummert finished his collegiate career with a 10:02.61 with fellow senior
Brandin Dyche also finishing his career in the event, making his first ever appearance in the steeplechase. Dyche ran 10:02.75 and the duo finished in 25th and 26th place with Mummert earning the advantage.
Brendan Provan finished in fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.87m (42' 2.75").
