Messiah does Enough to beat Lycoming

Men's swimming scraped by Lycoming earlier today with a 127-121 win over the Warriors. PJ Cronauer, Isaac McCabe, Mark Lukens and Johnathon Lacayo all earned victories in various events to give the Falcons their third win of the season. They are back in action on November 19 when they travel to Gettysburg.

Messiah beat Lycoming 127-121 earlier this afternoon with points being rather critical in this matchup. PJ Cronauer was the first winner for Messiah on the day, winning the 1000 Free event easily with a time of 10:47.99. The next closest time was over a minute thirty later (12:20.69).
 
In the tenth event of the day, Isaac McCabe won the 100 Breaststroke event with a time of 1:02.94. McCabe wasn't done, winning the 200 Breaststroke event later in the day with a time of 2:18.58. McCabe would beat out teammate Michael Shoul who finished in 2:22.46 in that race.
 
Mark Lukens edged out teammate Jacob Whipple in the 50 Free event with a time of 22.88. Whipple clocked in at 23.55.
 
Johnathon Lacayo won the 100 Fly event clocking in with a time of 57.02, just ahead of Andrew Roberti at 57.16.
 
Through 28 events the Falcons won 127-121 and improved their record to 3-2 on the year.
 
Up Next
The Falcons are back in action on November 19 when they travel to Gettysburg College.
