Falcons drop First Meet this Season

The women's swimming team dropped their first meet of the year, losing at the hands of Gettysburg 167-76. Abigail Soerens was the lone Falcon to win multiple events, let alone a single event. They are back in action on December 3-4 when they travel to Gettysburg for the Gettysburg invite.
 
Gettysburg defeats Messiah 167-76
Abigail Soerens won the 50 Breaststroke event with a time of 31.63. Soerens later won the 50 Freestyle event with a time of 25.39.
 
Sophie Schulze picked up a second-place finish in the 500 Freestyle event, clocking in at 5:28.31. Caitlin Ross also picked up a second-place finish in the 100 Freestyle event. Ross finished with a time of 56.24.
 
Also earning a second-place finish was Lainey Flanagan in the 50 Butterfly event. She finished with a time of 27.74. In the 100 IM, Lauren Cotton finished with a time of 1:04.09, which was good enough for a second-place finish.
 
In the 800 Freestyle Relay, the team of Sophie Schulze, Lauren Mock, Katelyn Boyce and Lainey Flanagan got a second-place finish with a time of 8:23.47.
