GRANTHAM, PA – The Messiah men's swim team dominated the Mighty Macs of Immaculata early Saturday afternoon, winning 203-32. The men won all but one event on the day as their record improves to 1-0 on the year.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Barley, McCabe, Yellets and Wilkinson finished first with a time of 1:41.38 to kick off the meet for the men.
Ben Pinto won the 1000-yard freestyle beating out teammate
Ben Clarke as they were the only two to participate in that event. In the 200-yard freestyle,
PJ Cronauer took first place with a time of 150.23.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Messiah competed against themselves with
Avery Barley finishing first with a time of 57.41 before.
Isaac McCabe took first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.34.
Mark Lukens took first in the 50-yard freestyle while Cronauer took first in the 100-yard freestyle.
Later, in the 200-yard backstroke, Barley came out on top with a time of 2:08.35 while McCabe won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:16.50. Cronauer once again won, this time in the 500-yard freestyle before teammate Aeden Wilkinson won the 100-yard butterfly.
Isaac McCabe won the 200-yard IM and to cap off the afternoon, the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Lukens, Roberti, Sobek and Cronauer won with a time of 3:26.64.

The win brings the Falcons record to 1-0 and will compete next Saturday, October 22 in a double dual against Wilkes and FDU-Florham. That meet will be held in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
