NEW YORK, N.Y. – On Friday night,
Esther Seeland competed at the prestigious Trials of Miles Track Night NYC Event at Icahn Stadium. Seeland turned in her fastest time of the season in the 800 Meter, clocking a mark of 2:03.08 in the B Final of the event. Seeland's time placed her third in the heat among a field littered with professional runners.
Seeland went out in 59.65 and logged a second lap of 1:03.44 for her top time of the season and her second-fastest time in the event ever. Last year at the National Championship, Seeland clocked a 2:02.52 mark in the 800 Meter, her personal best in the event.
Later this week Seeland will head to Geneva, Ohio for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships where she will complete as the top seed in both the 800 Meter and 1500 Meter.
