ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) released its weekly Player of the Week awards on Monday afternoon as
Esther Seeland (women's track & field) and
Madison Walter (softball) each claimed weekly conference honors. Seeland earns her seventh MAC Track Athlete of the Week and as Walter earned her fifth conference weekly award of the season.
Esther Seeland – MAC Track Athlete of the Week – Women's Track & Field
Seeland her seventh conference weekly award of the season. She swept her individual events at the MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships leaving with three gold medals. Seeland took first in the 1500m, 800m and the 400m. She also took third with the Falcons relay team in the 4x100m after Alvernia and DeSales.
Madison Walter – MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week - Softball
Walter earns her fifth conference weekly award of the season. Walter got both wins in the circle for Messiah at the MAC Commonwealth Championship earning the honor of MVP for the tournament. She tallied 25 strikeouts in 15.2 innings of work. The senior pitcher allowed just 10 hits and one walk on 56 batters faced.
