MILLERSVILLE, PA - The Messiah women's swim team dropped their first meet on the year after a 149-113 defeat to Millersville (D2).

Caitlin Ross picked up wins for the Falcons on a night where they accumulated three golds, 12 silvers and six bronzes.
The Falcons will be swimming next Saturday (Jan. 21) for their home quad meet in the Fredricksen Natatorium at 1:00 PM.

Katelyn Boyce picked up a gold on the night with a 2:18.85 win in the 200 Fly where she bested teammate
Erin Goudie who clocked in at 2:19.48.
Lexi Lovern also had a first place finish for the Falcons, this one in the 200 Breast where she finished with a time of 2:32.12. Second and third in that event also was Messiah, courtesy of the Soerens sisters, Evangeline and Abigail respectively.
Caitlin Ross picked up the final win for the Falcons in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:02.91. Teammate
Erin Goudie finished second in that event at 1:03.07.
Many other Falcons added second and third place finishes on the night, but Millersville prevailed 149-113 to give the Falcons their first loss of the year.

The loss takes the Falcons record to 7-1 on the season and will be back in action next week in a home quad meet. They will swim against York College, Stevens and Stevenson at 1:00 PM in Fredricksen Natatorium on Saturday, Jan. 21.
