GRANTHAM, PA – The Messiah men's swim team picked up two more wins this afternoon taking down Misericordia 164-97 and Albright 203-34 to cap off their regular season and end the year at 10-2.
PJ Cronauer had a strong day for the Falcons, winning three events on the afternoon.
The Falcons will travel to the Graham Aquatic Center for the MAC Championships in York, Pa from February 9-12.
In the Fred
The men started off with a 400 Medley Relay win with the team of
Avery Barley,
Isaac McCabe,
Dylan Yellets and
Mark Lukens timing in at 3:37.50.
PJ Cronauer followed with a 1000 Freestyle win timing in at 10:12.42, 42 seconds ahead of fellow teammate
Ben Pinto. Cronauer would also win the 100 Freestyle with a time of 49.88 as well as the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:55.62.
Sage Sobek won the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:50.96 for the next Falcon win. In the 50 Backstroke,
Avery Barley won with a time of 24.80. Barley also took the 100 Backstroke in 55.08. Then in the 50 Breaststroke, it was
Isaac McCabe timing in at 27.81 to earn another win for the Falcons.
In the 100 Butterfly, teammates
Aedan Wilkinson and
Dylan Yellets finished first and second with times of 54.02 and 55.07 respectively. Wilkinson also won the 50 Butterfly with a time of 24.06.
Mark Lukens won the 100 Freestyle with a time of 22.35.
Messiah beat Misericordia 164-97 and Albright 203-34.
After the meet, the Falcons swam a time trial in the 200 Medley Relay, setting a new pool record of 1:37.65.

The wins take the Falcons record to 10-2 as they prepare for the MAC Championships in early February. Those will be held in York, Pa in the Graham Aquatic Center from February 9-12.
