GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Messiah wrestling team opened their annual Petrofes Invitational on Friday afternoon, advancing 14 wrestlers into Day two of the event. As a team, the Falcons stand in first place with 117 points, 23 points clear of second-place Alvernia (94 points).
A total of 11 Falcons are alive in the Championship bracket and will begin Saturday in the semifinals, while three Messiah wrestlers remain in the consolation bracket.
