Men’s Swim Falters Against Red Devils

CARLISLE, Pa. – The Messiah University men's swim team fell to Dickinson College 128-71 in the first of two meets that the Red Devils and Falcons will take part in this weekend. The Falcons finished with nine top-three finishes with PJ Cronauer leading the way with wins in the 1650 free and the 200 fly.
 
Up next, the Falcons host Dickinson College for the second meet in two days between the two teams with the meet starting at 11:00 a.m.

How It Happened
The Falcons started the meet with a third-place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Will Russell, Nathan Book, Aedan Wilkinson, and Sage Sobek finished with a time of 3:52.65.
 
The Falcons started the individual meets strong with PJ Cronauer finishing first place in the 1650 free with a time of 17:29.96. Cronauer also touched the wall first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:05.90.
 
The Falcons had a strong 50 free with a gold and bronze medal. Aedan Wilkinson finished first with a time of 22.79 and Sage Sobek finished third with a time of 23.37. Aedan Wilkinson also added another first-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 50.64. Sobek also competed in the 100 free, finishing second with a time of 51.05.
 
The Falcons racked up some key points in the 200 IM with a second and third place finish. Nathan Book finished second with a time of 2:16.12 and Will Russell finished third with a time of 2:18.12. Russell also added a second-place finish in the 500 free with a time of 5:31.00.
 
The Falcons finished the meet with a third-place finish in the 200 relay. The team of Ben Clarke, Logan Radell, Dylan Yellets, and PJ Cronauer finished with a time 1:36.66.
