GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah University men's swim team fell to Dickinson 118-66 in the second meet in two days between the two teams. The Falcons had eight top-three finishes in the 20-event meet.
PJ Cronauer led the Falcons with two wins in the 100 free and in the 500 free.
Up next, the Falcons travel to York, Pa. for a double-dual meet against the Spartans of York College and the Mustangs of Stevenson University on Jan. 20 at 1:00 p.m.
How It Happened
The Falcons finished second in the 200 medley relay with the team of
Connor Fleming,
Nathan Book,
Dylan Yellets,
Logan Radell finishing with a time of 1:46.69.
The Falcons earned their first top-three finish in the 200 free with a gold medal from
Sage Sobek. Sobek finishd with a time of 1:50.25.
The Falcons added another top-three finish in the 50 free with
Aedan Wilkinson touching the wall second in the 50 free with a time of 22.68. Wilkinson added another second-place finish in the 100 fly with a time 56.36.
The Falcons had a strong showing in the 100 free with a first and third-place finish in the 100 free.
PJ Cronauer finished first with a time of 49.55 and
Sage Sobek finished third with a time of 50.27. Cronauer also finished first in the 500 free with a time of 4:58.91.
Connor Fleming added a third-place finish in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.34.
Nathan Book also added a second place-finish in the final individual event of the day. Book finished the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.03.
The Falcons ended the meet strong with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay. The team of
Aedan Wilkinson,
Ben Clarke,
Sage Sobek, and
PJ Cronauer touched the wall with a time of 3:23.69.
