AUSTIN, TEXAS – On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators announced their Academic All-American team for the 2024 men's soccer season.
Adam Carter and
Jarec Morlote each earned a spot on the Academic All-American Second Team.
In late November, Carter and Morlote were also named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. This is the second-straight season that Carter has been named to both the CSC Academic All-District Team and the Academic All-American Team. This is the second time Morlote has earned All-District honors and the first Academic All-American honor in his career.
On the field, Carter finished the 2024 season starting all 22 games in goal for the Falcons. Carter earned First team All-MAC Commonwealth after posting a 0.76 goals-against average, with 68 saves, a .810 save percentage and six shutouts. Morlote led the Falcons back line throughout the 2024 season, starting all 22 games with a goal and three assists.
In the classroom, Carter holds a 3.84 cumulative GPA, while majoring in English and Morlote has a 3.75 cumulative GPA, while majoring in Economics.
