First Half
The Falcons opened the game strong with a goal in the fourth minute from
Davis Pagett by
Patrick Lee to give the Falcons an early 1-0 lead. Just 10 minutes later,
Sam Phillips ripped a shot into the top right corner, but the Royals' goalkeeper made the save to keep the score at 1-0. Both defenses settled into the game and neither team earned a quality scoring opportunity for the rest of the half to keep the score at 1-0 heading into halftime.
Second Half
The Royals opened the half with their first scoring opportunity with a low shot in the middle of the net, but
Adam Carter made the save to keep the Falcons 1-0 lead. In the 54th minute,
Josh Bratager looked to increase the Falcons lead with a shot into the bottom-left corner, but the Royals goalkeeper made the save. The Falcons had one more shot on net in the 83rd minute.
Sam Phillips sent another shot on goal and this time the shot was a low shot right in the center of the net for another save for the Royals goalkeeper.
