GRANTHAM, Pa. - AROMA (A Revolutional of Missional Athlete), will be sending out two international trips this week. On Wednesday, August 7th, a mixed trip representing Messiah and AROMA will be traveling to Zambia alongside long term partner Project 1151. AROMA has been working with Project 1151 and the Macha Sport and Learning Program for almost a decade and this will be AROMA's seventh trip to Zambia. MSLP was started by Messiah alum, Eric Thuma ('00). His family has hosted the team and been intimately involved alongside their Zambian staff in years past. Their family has returned to the US and turned the ministry over completely to the Zambian staff. We hope to bring our team back alongside them to encourage and support the ongoing ministry in Macha.

On Friday, August 9th, the Messiah men's volleyball team will be heading to Costa Rica in partnership with Push The Rock. Push The Rock has been using sports for many years as a means to share the message of Jesus in Costa Rica. The men's volleyball team will partner with local churches and ministries in and around the capital city of San Jose to help them connect with their local communities through daily volleyball clinics, matches and service projects. Push The Rock has established an office in San Jose that runs weekly sports programs where kids are challenged athletically and spiritually. The team will have a great opportunity to be a part of the ongoing ministry there.
