WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - On Saturday afternoon the Messiah University wrestling team competed in day two of the Budd Whitehill National Duals. The Falcons finished in eighth place out of 16 teams in a very competitive tournament field. The Falcons earned a spot in the fifth-place bracket after finishing day one second in Group D. The Falcons fell in the opening match of the day against Washington and Lee, 23-16, to wrestle for seventh place against Wilkes. Messiah and Wilkes battled in a tight match, but Wilkes come out with the 27-26 win and the Falcons earned eighth in the 2025 Budd Whitehill National Dual.
 
Up next, the Falcons wrestle in the MAC Championships hosted by King's College on Saturday, Jan. 18 starting at 10:00 a.m.
