Women’s Swim Drops Dual at Dickinson

CARLISLE, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University women's swimming team fell to the Red Devils of Dickinson College, 113-91 in the Falcons opening dual of 2025. The Falcons finished the dual with 16 individual top three finishes and two gold medals. The Falcons finished first in the 400 medley relay and finished second in the 200 free relay.
 
Up next, the Falcons travel to Stevenson University for a double-dual against the Spartans of York College and the Mustangs of Stevenson University on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2:30 p.m.
 
How It Happened
The Falcons opened the dual strong with a first-place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Grace Schad, Lauren Cotton, Erin Goudie, and Kylie Wilkinson finished first with a time of 4:11.67.
 
The Falcons opened the individual events with a second and third-place finish in the 1000 free. Samantha Pennell touched the wall second with a time of 11:43.26 and Keelie Conaway earned the bronze with a time of 11:47.70.
 
The Falcons continued to have a strong start with a second and third-place finish in the 200 free. Kylie Wilkinson earned the silver with a time of 2:05.46 and Kari Mindrebo touched the wall third with a time of 2:06.03. Wilkinson and Mindrebo also earned second and third in the 500 free. Wilkinson finished second with a time of 5:37.29 and Mindrebo earned the bronze with a time of 5:39.78.
 
The Falcons continued to earn second and third-place finishes, this time in the 50 free. Kendal Wilson touched the wall second with a time of 26.75 and Lauren Mock finished in third with a time of 27.05. Wilson also added a third-place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 1:06.78. Mock also added a third-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 58.14.
 
In the next event, Madelyn Frey earned a third-place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 5:10.39. Frey also earned the gold in the 100 breast with a time of 1:12.15.
 
Erin Goudie earned a silver in the 100 free with a time 57.32.
 
In the next event, the Falcons earned a gold and a bronze. Grace Schad finished in first with a time of 1:00.69 and Maddy Price earned third-place with a time of 1:07.61.
 
Lexi Lovern added a second-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:14.14.
 
The Falcons finished the dual with a second-place finish in the 200 free. The team of Erin Goudie, Kendal Wilson, Lauren Mock, and Grace Schad touched the wall second with a time of 1:45.77
