DALLAS, Pa. – On Friday evening, the Messiah University men's swimming team fell to the Cougars of Misericordia University, 125-80. The Falcons finished second in the first relay and capped of the dual with a third-place finish in the final relay. In the individual races, the Falcons finished with 12 top three finishes with four gold medals. 
Joseph Duquette led the Falcons with two first place finishes. 
Nathan Book and 
Austin Turner each added a first-place finish.
 
Up next, the Falcons travel to Frederick, Md. for a quad meet against Hood College, King's College (Pa.), and Widener University on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1:00 p.m.
How it Happened
The Falcons opened the dual with a second-place finish in the 200 free medley relay. The team of 
Joseph Duquette, 
Nathan Book, 
Dylan Yellets, and 
Connor Fleming touched the wall second with a time of 1:45. 34.
 
The Falcons started the individual races strong with a first and third place finish in the 1000 free. 
Austin Turner earned the gold with a time of 10:50.95 and 
Logan Radell touched the wall third with a time of 11:07.35. Turner added a silver medal in the 500 free with a time of 5:18.61.
 
The Falcons then earned a third-place finish in the 200 free with 
Nathan Book finishing with a time of 2:00.74. Book also earned the gold in the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.13.
 
Evan Lamison earned the bronze medal in the 50 free with a time of 24.01. Lamison also earned a third-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 54.31.
 
The Falcons then earned their second gold medal of evening with 
Joseph Duquette finishing in first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.08. Duquette added another gold in the 100 back with a time of 54.40.
 
Dylan Yellets added a third-place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.32.
 
John Bajwa also added a silver medal in the 100 free with a time of 53.74.
 
Aidan Lacock also added a bronze medal in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.87.
 
The Falcons ended the dual with a third-place finish in the 400 free relay. The team of 
Austin Turner, 
John Bajwa, 
Logan Radell, and 
Evan Lamison finished in third with a time of 3:34.25.
