GLENSIDE, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University men's swimming team dropped a road dual meet against the Knights of Arcadia University, 160-102. The Falcons started the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay and capped the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 free relay. The Falcons earned 13 top three finishes with six gold medals.

Joseph Duquette, and
Austin Turner each earned two first-place finishes.

How It Happened
The Falcons opened the meet with a silver medal in the 400 medley relay. The team of
Joseph Duquette,
Nathan Book,
Dylan Yellets, and
Evan Lamison touched the wall second with a time of 3:52.23.
Austin Turner opened the individual races with a gold medal in the 1000 free with a time of 10:53.43. Turner added a first-place finish in the 500 free with a time of 5:14.66.
In the next event,
John Bajwa finished in second with a time of 1:55.41.
Joseph Duquette then touched the wall second in the 50 back with a time of 25.72. Duquette earned the gold in the 100 back (54.85) and the 200 IM (2:04.07).
In the next race,
Nathan Book finished in first with the time of 28.99. Book also added a gold in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.09
Evan Lamison then finished third in the 50 free with a time of 23.44. Lamison also added a silver in the 100 free with a time of 52.91.
Connor Fleming,
Logan Radell, and
Aidan Siemieniec each added a third-place finish to round out the Falcons individual top-three finishes. Fleming touched the wall third in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.71, Radell finished in third in the 500 free with a time of 5:19.78, and Siemieniec earned the bronze in the 50 fly with a time of 27.78.
The Falcons ended the dual with a silver medal in the 200 free relay. The team of
