KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Tuesday afternoon, the United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced their 2025 Men's Soccer All-Region teams. The Falcons earned three honors in Region V with
Patrick Lee and
Grant Shreiner earning first team honors.
Matt Griffin was also named to the fourth team.
Patrick Lee earned first team honors, after finishing the season leading the Falcons with 26 points. Lee led the Falcons with 10 goals and six assists. Lee also finished tied for first on the team with three game-winning goals, including the game-winner in the NCAA Tournament First Round game over No. 16 Hobart College in overtime.
Grant Shreiner also earned a spot on the first team after a dominant season in the defensive midfield for the Falcons. Shreiner totaled one goal and one assist, but he created many offensive possessions for the Falcons with his play in the midfield.
Matt Griffin earned a spot on the fourth team after helping lead the Falcons defense throughout the season. Griffin helped the Falcons allow only one goal throughout the conference games this season. Griffin also played a huge role in the Falcons two shutout wins in the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Griffin also added a goal on the season.
