Men’s Swimming Opens Day One of Gettysburg Invitational in Sixth Place

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – On Friday evening, the Messiah University men's swimming team competed in session one of the Gettysburg Invitational. After session one, the Falcons are in sixth place with 40 points.
 
Up next, the Falcons compete in day two of the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 6 with session two at 9:30 a.m. The final session will take place tomorrow as well at 5:30 p.m.
 
How It Happened
The Falcons opened the Gettysburg Invitational with a 13th place finish in the 200 free relay. The team of Evan Lamison, Connor Fleming, John Bajwa, and Nathan Book finished with a time of 1:32.44.
 
In the 200 IM, Evan Lamison finished as the top Falcon swimmer with a time of 2:15.50.
 
Nathan Book finished as the top Messiah racer in the 50 free with a time of 22.92.
 
The Falcons finished off session one of the Gettysburg Invitational with an 11th place finish in the 400 medley relay. The team of Joseph Duquette, Nathan Book, Dylan Yellets, and Evan Lamison finished with a time of 3:46.37.
