GETTYSBURG, Pa. - On Saturday, the Messiah University men's swimming team finished sessions two and three in the final day of the Gettysburg Invitational. The Falcons finished the two-day invitational in sixth place with 137 total points on the weekend.

How It Happened
Session Two
The Falcons opened session two of the Gettysburg Invitational with an 11th place finish in the 200 medley relay. The team of
Joseph Duquette,
Nathan Book,
Dylan Yellets, and
Evan Lamison finished 11th with a time of 1:42.90.
In the first individual race,
Dylan Yellets finished in ninth with a time of 5:01.49.
In the next race,
Joseph Duquette earned a top 20 finish in the 100 fly with a time of 54.29. Duquette also earned a 16th place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:51.50.
In the 100 breast,
Nathan Book earned a 12th place finish with a time of 1:02.07.
Aidan Lacock also earned a top 20 finish with a time of 1:05.85.
In the next event, the Falcons earned three top 20 finishes in the 100 back.
Connor Fleming led the Falcons with a 14th place finish with a time of 1:00.14.
John Bajwa finished in 17th with a time of 1:03.71 and
Sebastian Martinez came in 18th with a time of 1:04.94.
The Falcons capped off session two with a ninth-place finish in the 800 free relay. The team of

Logan Radell, and
Joseph Duquette finished in ninth with a time of 7:57.07.
Session Three
In the 200 back,
Joseph Duquette had the top finish of the invitational for the Falcons with a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:56.77.
Nathan Book earned the top time for the Falcons in the 100 free with a time of 51.09.
In the 200 fly,
Dylan Yellets finished as the top racer for the Falcons with a time of 2:16.90.
In the final event of the Gettysburg Invitational, the Falcons finished 11th in the 400 free relay. The team of

Joseph Duquette finished in 11th with a time of 2:23.97.
